In our efforts to combat the evil devs with thier "Double XP Weekends" The NRF is proud to host "Double Debt Weekend".

A second TF will be run, most likely the LRSF, again with the slider on Max.

Same time, but on Sunday....SUNDAY.... SUNDAY!!

Just to be clear, while this will be "hosted" by NRF, anyone is welcome to attend.

So, um, anyone care to explain this for the nOOb among you?  =)  Not that I expect I'm the right level to participate or anything, but for future reference.

Suicide Saturday Night started a couple years back when a few of us were feeling less than challenged by the game. Basically the idea was to take some of the things we were doing and make them as hard as possible. The slider was introduced to the game around this time and so that became part of it. Slider cranked to max , "sub-optimal" teams, 12 man Hammi raids, Sewer trials without heals, things like that. One night time it was Vage and I duoing the Terra Volta respec trial.
Basically just bringing more challenge to the game than we were getting at the time.

I find the game is much more challenging on a whole now, but every once in a while you just gotta do something stupid...

Hmm its like me every night.  I solo half my missions, and my slider is always set to invincible.

One of the reasons why I usually solo or try to find a "fun" group to team with.  Because sometimes doing something so stupid is just... well... fun.  :)  Usually I get a remark about how I just did some so so stupid and faceplanted in no time flat --- I just say, "Yeah, but wasn't it glorious?"

Yeah, I think rain made a comment about enjoying my non-stop action spree as Frozen Northman.  I would jump ahead to the next group of Rikti before the rest of the team had finished polishing off the previous group.

(This was generally because my Axe attacks are slow, and I like to be able to get some hits in before the group is obliterated by the rest of the team...)

Ahhh, sounds like it would be lots of fun for me, then.  Tons of healing and rezzing and tping to do!  ;)

And oy on the Terra Volta respect TF...We had a decent team of 7 peeps (well, except the annoying, didn't-do-much blaster) and still managed to wipe at the end.  Too late to try it again.  But it was (mostly) fun for awhile there!

Funny, I thought doing stupid things was a prerequisite for teaming with Rain.....or a side-effect.... :D
