Another AI question ....

I've been using M25's AI Generator, which has improved enemy AI monumentally (they can use shields, TK lifts, etc). But how do I get my team AI up to the same standard? For example, while I control one character in my team of four, the other three characters stand around and don't attempt to defend themselves. I've used the AI Generator on them, but still no luck.

Anyone got any ideas?

Well, you're supposed to control all four, not just one. . .

But M25 can be hooked up to work with your other characters, if you want to pretend you are playing MUA or something.

So, I just run the AI Generator over them or what?

No, it would take some further tweaking to get the AI to run for player controlled characters.

I still don't see why you'd want to, though.  Takes all the strategy out of the game.

not if your strategy is to just watch....
or to not go into a fight with people too dense to defend themselves...
and its not like you cant turn the ai off again, or override it..

If you right-click on your character, you should see an option to turn on the AI.  You'll have to move them within range of the enemy though.

Alternatively, bring the other characters in as buddies.  Add the --Buddies-- seperator on the select enemies screen and put the characters you want on your side after it.  Then add the ------- separator and add all of the enemy characters after it.

Cheers for the advice, guys.

Since I frequently have my Rumble Room set up with a team of four (controlled by me) versus numerous opponents, I like my guys to be able to be able to defend against attacks and retaliate on a basic level until I decide to override control. I find that when you're fighting a huge amount of opponents at once, the game becomes tricky to micro-manage ... while I'm focusing on one character, the other three can get gang bashed and killed quite quickly.

I've only recently discovered M25 AI, so expect more obvious questions in the future.

In the RR I normally juts play with one char and have the rest running on auto M25 ai, of course in the campaign it's too hard for that :). Full team play is recommended!
