FF1 Camera Angles?

Hi,
   I'm getting back into playing  :ff:, and I'm finding the camera angles pretty restrictive. I seem to recall that there was a way of getting the camera angles to be more flexible and easier to control, but I can't remember what it was. Can anyone help me, or is my memory playing tricks on me?

check the sticked thread at the top of this forum. FFVTTR and FF are the same, in this respect, I believe.
