power blast ffx idea

i was reading how spider-man broke his web canister to trap the blob.  and i was thinking, we could do that with ff.  the jinx attribute can take powers away, so i think something like that.
the ffx would ultimately make the power act as much higher level, and then make the power go away for a while.
would this work?

Maybe Megablast with a the power customization set to an area powernull would work?
