Technical Problem

I've made random in-game comments about this with no results - so let me try things a bit more formally here.

For several weeks I have been having an odd account-related audio glitch - random sound effects are dropping out.  I notice it most distinctly when typing (with the key stroke tone), but it happens when activating my powers, when my powers affect enemies and when enemy powers affect me.  As near as I can tell, every other sound effect of these types just does not occur.

This is happening on both the computers I use to play the game and did not happen in relation to any patch.

Any thoughts, ideas?

Perhaps it's just a glitch on their end?

That or Glitch Girl has been fiddling with your PC's. :D

have you petitioned?

it sounds like a bizarre issue.. not even sure what to suggest. I'm not a fan of "reinstall!" and that seems a typical response offered.

I'd also suggest posting this issue in the CoH/V Tech Support forums.

Petitioned twice - no worthwhile result.  I did on CoH forums - yet to see what that will yield.
