I suppose i could pick on, technically one has to be better than the others, but it would only be, IMO, the best of a bad bunch.
XBOX has no games that interest me (WOW! more first person shooters and car racing games! good thing they made a console for that cos thos two markets were SO under represented before)
Wii: Still waiting for some games for it, or at least some that don't have mario in the title,  and
PS3: Wasn't ready to be launched, but the soulless SOBs at Sony did it anyway.
I'll stick with my PS2, its lighter than a book, stylish and has a library of thousands of games.

I can't really afford any of the next-gen consoles, and even if I could, I'm not sure I'd want any one of them., each has its fair share of issues.

- The XBox 360 continues to be plagued by the "Red Ring of Death"... latest estimates say that about 33% of all XBox 360s will eventually succumb to fatal failure within the normal operating lifespan of the product. That, to me, is a good indication that the design of the product or the manufacturing process is flawed. Getting free shipping for repairs and free replacements won't even cut it for me, since, if it's a design problem, any replacements will still have the same chance for "RROD". I just don't think it's justifiable (to me, at least) to spend that much money on a device that has an unacceptably high chance of failing.

- I like the concept for the Wii... it just doesn't have any games I'm interested in and if the game catalogue for the Game Cube is any indication of the future offerings for the Wii, it doesn't look like there won't be too many future games for the Wii that I'll be interested in either.

- The PS3 has a lot of things going for it: powerful specs, a reasonably-priced and readily available Linux-based third party operating system that should turn the PS3 into a decent PC, and Sony's reputation as a giant in the electronics hardware industry. The PS3 launch has been nothing short of a fiasco, though... too few games available at launch and the high pricing (no doubt due to the included Blu-Ray drive... they should have made it an option instead) have kept buyers away for the most part.

I'll probably stick to my PS2 and PC for a while... I'll consider one of the next-gen systems once they've worked out all the kinks and the prices drop.
