And there's an earlier series from March.

They're pretty funny alright, and have some good points.  The voice acting's good too.  Of course, it would be hard to watch these if it wasn't.

LOLROFL!

Totally the best one thus far...

Robot Chicken should hire this guy to do writing for their show... heck even just do his bits on their show and give him credit. Or even better... Get him his own show.

I'm still waiting for him to do a bit with Ghost Rider, Man-Thing, Elektra, and Daredevil drinking themselves under the table talking about how badly their films have been screwed up.

I laughed out loud at that part too, I guess as a reminder that venom is both really cool and really gross. I mean he's a naked guy covered in slime (except the rare times he wore boxers).

Same here. It's not that he bashes often on DC's movie track record, it's just that I love seeing marvel AND dc characters interact on the same frame. Watching people draw parallels and come up with possible dialog is tons of fun.

I LOVE these videos. Soo funny. And I think it's just one guy doing all the voices. That's talent right there. I'm surprised Marvel contacted him, that's pretty damn cool. However, I would rather see more Marvel VS DC than just Marvel. But even if it is just Marvel characters, I'm sure it will still be funny.

While agree that the series got much more serious, I still found it quite funny.  I also think it was serious done very well - excellent writing and acting, great pathos and a lot of fun.  If IJSRG flubbed the serious it would not have been a series worth following.  As it is, I am eagerly awaiting the next installment.

It has Comedy!

Now if RandomGuy can keep this balance of comedy and drama for the rest of Season 2, I'm a happy man.

One observation, though... why is it that Green Goblin gets the funniest lines and most of the humor centers on him while the Joker seems so serious?

He'd have to be very careful with something like that.  Right now Marvel and DC are giving him free rein because he's really not making any money from this.  As soon as he starts to profit in any appreciable way they will cut him off.  Probably violently.  At the knees.

He needs a DVD release.

He'd have to be very careful with something like that.  Right now Marvel and DC are giving him free rein because he's really not making any money from this.  As soon as he starts to profit in any appreciable way they will cut him off.  Probably violently.  At the knees.

agreed the fact that marvel was even showing them on there official site says, he is being watched

though i would say i would love to burn them to dvd to watch on a big screen don't think the quality would be great though

I'm so glad there's a new crop of superhero movies coming out.  I like the After Hours and all, but it's Marvel vs. DC blips like this where justsomerandomguy really shines.

Well, he did go for a normal Joker instead of one from TAS.  Wel, TNAoBaR, but still, TAS.

I don't want to get on a rant here but his Ironman figure is the effin' "Thor Buster" Ironman. There are TONS of awesome regular figures out there. Why "Itssomerandomguy" can't afford the $9 to update it is beyond me.

Probably because of the large number of new figures that have appeared in the last episode.  And the fact that he spends all his time making internet movies.

They only seem that way at first because they're, you know, action figures.  Most of us stopped playing with them a long, long time ago. ;)

But actually, the action figures are part of the genius.  It's all wicked parody on the current state of comic book superheroes.  What more delicious irony than to use merchandise to tell the tales?!

But there's also reverence for what comics used to be and still are sometimes.  Besides that, they're pretty darn funny (mostly).

If people enjoy something and I don't, it's still a good thing to me, but I really don't even understand how any of these videos are supposed to be funny. And why would they possibly need money to keep making these? They have a video camera, they have the toys, which are cheap and if they aren't able to afford whatever new ones they need maybe they should go find a job. And youtube is free too. If they don't get any money for this and stop making their videos because of it, that's just lame of them.

Eh.  Buying all those toys is NOT cheap, and the amount of time spent of these things is quite substantial.  If you don't like them, don't watch and stop whining when they try to find a way to make money on their substantial investments.  It's the American and the capitalist way to find something you like doing and try to make a living on it.  Maybe see succeeds, maybe he fails.  At the very lest, he may be able to afford to make more or at least improve his methods.

A. They are making these videos because THEY enjoy doing them and gained a large audience of comic fans who love their work as well... sure you may not get the humor but that is your opinion.

B. Both of them have stated at their con appearances and online interviews that they both have jobs but do their show in their free time. They support their show thru the figures they owned orginally and recently a few that were donated to them when they started doing their Con appearances.. now they ARE ASKING people who wanted to donate to the show will get the commentaries as a bonus. Is this really like having to pay for a $50 digital cable converter just to watch FREE network televison? Or a small $3-4 purchase (yes, it's almost the cost of a DVD rental) just to listen to them talking about their own work IF you want to listen to the commentaries. It's not required.. really...just something new they are trying. They did threaten to stop making them if they didn't get paid.. they just need funds for supplies and during these tight times who can blame them? after all RandomGirl builds and paints the sets not to mension scavenge parts from various sources.

Who are we paying? Their writers? Their publicists? Their actors?! God forbid - THEM!! Oh the humanity! YouTube is meant to be a home for the wild and the free!
