Title: Adding FX w/Nifskope?
Post by: billdamn22 on December 04, 2008, 05:38:26 AM
Can anyone help me with this? I also recall Ink's Super Cracker mesh having a black box that could be used to see FX better on a mesh, but I can't seem to find it in Nifskope.

The black box wasn't for nifskope it was for 3d studio max and I think nifskope only see some fxs and not all. So far I've only been able to see ones that are fx.nifs not male_basic_fx like.

Hmmm... I could have sworn it was a black box in character tool. Maybe it's hidden and I need to make it visible?
The box itself is not a big deal as I recall it just made fx easier to see in Ctool. I have a skope of the Freezerburn character from Wildguard, but I still need to add fx for the ice on his right arm and the fire for his left arm. Is it as easy as copying the FX emitter nodes from one mesh to another or is it more complex than that?
