Title: 2d woman
Post by: miguelyanke on September 23, 2008, 01:53:15 PM
Hi! i'm looking for a 2D woman mesh... i'm looking for a longhair mesh, but, i'd like to know if it's possible to transform (skoping) a 3D mesh into a 2D.

Thanks in advance

I know there are at least two 2-D male meshes, but I've never seen a 2-D female.

Can be done with through hexing so I imagine it could be done with nifskope.

It will only work with meshes that do not have a refl or glow layer. I tried it on male_basic_effect and it did not work, but it did with male_basic. Hope that helps

O.K. I had to find a mesh that did not have a reflect or glow layer, I used Val's Male_cape_flatbelt. I used a hex editor and changed the second 80f to 01f in the handle node to get this effect.

I hope you understand and you can use it to make a female version, you could use nifscope to do it as well. Just scale the  second vertex of the handle node. Off the top of my head I can not think of any female meshes that don't have a reflect or glow layer, try looking for a older mesh.

Okay, that makes no sense to me. I'll see if I can figure it out when I have Nifscope opened up.

Thanks!

Can't show pictures, but I now have both a 2D Female Basic and a 2-D Female Stretched. It also let me make half a head of hair for Ultra, the Multi-alien.
