I've just reinstalled the original NWN Gold ed (includes Shadows). I may try to finally finish the main mission. But what can you recommend for mods?
Most mods requite HoTU, so I can't vouch what will work with your setup and what won't.
The Dreamcatcher series is good, especially once you get into the second part.
Darkeness over Daggerfall is also spectacularly good. Worth playing. It was supposed to be a premium module anyway.
Haven't played a lot of others, but the ratings system on the vault makes finding good ones quite easy.
there is a remake of pool of radiance that is quite fun to play
used to play a persistant world mod called shadowrealm alot with a few forumers a while back, was fun for a long long time
I nearly forgot about Tales of a Mage. As the name suggests, you have to play a wizard or sorceror. Just make sure you have some way of fighting invisibles. That's the mistake I meant.
I've been playing the Aielund Saga and thoroughly enjoying it!
Heard a lot of good things about it, but haven't played it yet.
It's great Cat, but VERY epic, so you need to devote some time to it. It's probably better than the original NWN campaign, for what that's worth. ^_^
A bit off-topic, but anyone interested in getting a group together and playing through a multiplayer mod? I was looking at one highly rated series today, but they're meant for more than one player.
just dug out all my old nwn1 discs, depending on days and timezones I may be interested

I...should attack you violently...I really should. :P
Cool, I'll put up a separate thread with more info as to what I'm thinking, and leave this one to its intended use.
My schedule is generally lousy, but I'd love to give it a whirl is it works out.
Yeah, having trouble choosing modules is all.
demon cards would be a fun one for multiplayer.
That not a regular adventure module, though, just a minigame.
It's also a part of the Demon module, which is part of the dreamcatcher series which I recommended above.
