Just had one helluva slow roller here were I live. Luckily everythings fine, nothing knocked down or broken and my family is ok. Phones were out for about an hour though. And once we did I called work to see how everything was and they had alot of spills all over the store, all I can say is wow i'm sure glad I got off work before the quake!
BTW I work at a supermarket as temporary janitor, so you can see how lucky I am right now^^
It was fun for the kids who hadn't remembered experiencing a quake that big. But no big deal for us grown ups who went through the '94 quake. Not out here in the Valley anyway.
This is the last thing I wanted to happen before I go home next week. At least it wasn't nearly close to the 7.8 that struck WenChuan a few months ago.

God I remember that. Weirdest thing about the Northridge quake was both my brother and my mom were dreaming about an earthquake before it even happened. But anyways wow I didn't know you lived in the valley too Ren!
If there are a good many of us living in LA then maybe we should have a West Coast FR meeting. The others have their Chicago meeting so we should have ours....Is there still a monthly comic-con at the LA convention center?
