He's not a "hacker." He was the sysadmin for that wifi network, so he would've had those passwords anyway.

Agreed.  I hate it when words are thrown around so much people forget what the actually mean.  He had the access, so it wasn't a hacker.  That would be like me giving the passwords to my website account to a friend so he could help me with it, and him messing up my sites.  That wouldn't be hacking, because he had the access and abused it.

It's not as bad as the way politicians are abusing the term flip-flop, but it's still pretty bad.
