Title: Questions about Weapons Master

I was trying out Weapons Master, trying to add some custom weapons, and can't get it to work right. After creating the Template and Power for the new weapon and then adding the info to ffxextras.py, I found that I also had to create a Resource effect (which the manual doesn't mention) of the same name as the template, because I got an error in the script.log saying it couldn't find the effect and the weapon failed to mount on my character's arm.

Sooo.... now that the weapon is mounted, I tried firing off the power. Nothing. I get the command, but the character just stands there when I click on it. I don't get any error in the script.log either.
I tried out some existing weapons and they all work except for the Shield Power of the Megarod. The Power Blast and TP work perfectly.

After adding some print commands, to try to figure it out on my own, I see that OnUseWeapon() is called when I use the Megarod's Power Blast or TP, but it doesn't get called when trying to use the Shield or my own custom Weapon's Power.

Anyone had similar problems? Or better yet, a solution?

I know I used it when making my now-apparently-abandoned-forever Angel/Buffy/Freeroam mod, as I gave it to pretty much everyone, but I was using mainly melee type weapons. I did have the crossbow working, and flame thrower, I think, and some pistols.
I'll dig around my hdd to see if I can find the code I used.
Needless to say it was all based off M25's freeroam campaign stuff.
