Ok, I did everything what Tommyboy's tutorial says in here (http://tommyboymeshes.freedomforceforever.com/Ghost%20Mesh%20Fix%20Tutorial.html)
I'm trying to fix the_hand mesh which was skoped by Style and it can be found here...

First, I looked for the "NISKINPARTITION", I selected "BLOCK">"COPY".
Then I looked for the "NISKINDATA". right-clicked, selected "BLOCK"> and then clicked "PASTE"
Then "NISKINPARTITION" block appeared at the bottom
(http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v137/IndigoSpyder/4.jpg)
Then I went back to "NISKINDATA" and in "BLOCK DETAILS" I highlighted "SKIN PARTITION".
I double clicked the "VALUE" field in "SKIN PARTITION" making it editable.
I then entered the NISKINPARTITION BLOCK into the "VALUE" field.

And in the end, this is what happened...just take a look at his crotch...
So how do I fix this? Anyone pls?
Newer versions of NifSkope have a built in 'make niskinpartition' feature, which probably makes my tutorial unnecessary.
I'd suggest trying it on the skope, you MAY get better results, but nothing is guaranteed.
Oh dear, I badly want this Hand ninja skope :(
Send me the mesh or link to it and I'll try fixing it.
Here it is Nomad, it is skoped by Style

Give that a shot.

Well, that's certainly disheartening. It works fine on my computer and I don't get that in character tool. Apparently, there's no solution to the problem. I guess I can enjoy these non-ghosting meshes until I get my new computer xD.
Or...you can teach us your methods of fixing ghosting mesh.
All I'm doing is clicking on each mesh piece in the scene root (not ones attached to the biped). Then I use the make skin partition spell. I'm not sure if it works only with my computer configuration. The only other thing I can think if is trying to find the auto-skin partition utility that was posted awhile back. I seemed to have deleted it but it basically did the same thing except you could do multiple meshes.

Indigo, did you try that one in-game? I had a similar problem on one of the computers that I was using, it was an issue with the driver, but even though the meshes looked like that in the character tool, they worked fine in-game.
