My big gripe is this new "voice recognition" software they're using on tech support lines. The female voice they use most of the time is so amazingly condescending and then as you start getting irritated, the voice reconition stops recognizing words. ARGH!! I've gotten where I just don't say anything and start hitting the "0" key if it starts asking me questions like that. It's faster.

I got a woman on the line last week who I swear was the person who recorded the prompts for those system. Her voice was so measured and so scripted. It wasn't until about the 6th or 7th exchange that I realized I was talking to a real person.
