Title: Randomizing Skins...
Post by: The Hitman on May 04, 2008, 02:00:21 PM
Man, I hope this is the right place to ask this. If it's not, oopsie, just move it or disregard.

Anydangway, how are skins set up to appear at random, in- game for FF1? I'm sure it's something simple, but for the life of me, I can't figure it out.

Using either FFEdit for built ins, or a hero editor for customs, instead of the folder name of the skin you want, set it to "random"

How about for  :ffvstr:?

I tried setting my hero file to 'random' skin so that I can have full use of the Runt mesh for thugs... but when I went into the danger room the program freezes up with an error.

Should work exactly the same. I just tried it and had no problem.

A. What are you using to edit the Hero File?
B. You didn't put any quote marks around the word "random" right? (just checking)
