Title: Wanted
Post by: Alphanaut on April 02, 2008, 09:51:25 PM
Is anybody looking forward to this movie? I recently read the graphic novel and was blown away. I thoroughly enjoyed it. However, when I looked at the information about the movie, I noted that they changed one of the huge parts of the plot, ie
The Fraternity being a league of assassins instead of supervillains.
None the less, I'm still intrigued. Is anybody else interested in this one?

I've never read the book, and don't intend to do so before or recently after the movie.  That way I don't have to be disappointed in any deviations from the source.  I did see the trailers, and it looks like a wild ride.  Hopefully they didn't show ALL the good parts in the trailers.

The movie has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with the graphic novel, other than a few superficial words. Nothing. noooooooooooothiiiiing.

Then it's good I haven't read the graphic novel.  It's by the same guy who did Nightwatch, so I'll have to enjoy it on its own merits.
