Hola gente! ^_^
I've a problem, as difficult as simple...
Well i'm trying to do a X-23 skope using female_simbionte as base... so, when she attacks she'll take out her claws...
I used the claws that there are in the mesh, but...
When i try to change the hair, it say me that the file is other version...
And it's strange, 'cause Podmark has an Mercury "mesh"... it's a real mesh or an skope, 'cause, when i tried to put "mercury's hair" it say to me that it's other version...
I'd like use X-treme Rouge hair... or Mystique_INK ...
If u have some ideas i'll thank' u all!!
Have you checked that both meshes are for using the with FF or FF3R? What I mean is both meshes should be for FF or both for FF3R, otherwise you won't be able to exchange parts with nifskope.
uhm.. both run with ff3R... but, i don't know if it's the same with FF 'cause it doesn't run in my computer... (but both can be opened with "character tool" (if it matters)
All my skopes are FF3R only.
This is a problem when trying to skope meshes that aren't the same nif format (FF or FFvTR) as lmalonsof said.
FF used version 4.xx something and I think FFvTR used like 10.xx... while a mesh from FF might work in game, it's the game engine basically being backwards compatible forgiving with it even though it may be an older version. Nifskope has no such forgiveness when cutting and pasting.
If you are playing FFvTR and not FF... you can run both meshes through the nifconverter which essentially converts them to the same nif version used by FFvTR. Then skoping them should work.*
* As a precaution back up the meshes first just in case by some wacky slim chance it screws something up.

Ok! IT OVERCOME ME!!!! TT_TT
Ok, i transformed original female_symbiote and i could add the hair, but, i don't know how can i change the longhair "hair" from the base model...
Then, I tried to add the same hair into mercury_skope and it give's me an error (something.
So, i tryed to convert mercury_skope, and it give's me an error
YA TA!!!!!
^_^
I DID IT! I just needed to change the based mesh ^_^ THANK U ALL!!! SOON U'LL SEE AND X-23 SKOPE!! ^_^
THen I have another question...
How can I change the axe motion to use the claws instead?... Do I need a new KF?
