I am trying to develop male_energy/male_energy style. Anyone got an idea how to to does this.
I'm not sure what you mean by a "male_energy style" mesh. Could you elaborate as to what you hope to develop? That way we could give you advice that might be of more help. Is this a mesh in which the body is energy rather than solid material - sort of like Negative Man from the Doom Patrol? Is it a mesh with FX, like the many human torch type meshes? Maybe keyframe activated FX, like the vxHavok meshes? Or is it something different?
sorry, Bobby69 did a male_energy and a male_etheral mesh I am trying to do something like that. I am attempting to do a design of Krang from TMNT's robot body. I want to do a body that has some robotic bits but much of it is comprised of concentrated energy.
Open the male_Energy and the male basic meshes and open them in skope to compare all the settings(long and tedious). Then, find the mesh you want to alter, and make those changes.
Alternate: Use the Male Energy as a base.
Alternate: You could always PM Vertex and ask him how he did the original.
Just suggestions.

I think male_energy is just a mesh with all of it: reflection?

No. It is Translucent.
If its partially translucent you'll need to make sure the mesh is alpha enabled
right click on the mesh/editable mesh, add property>nialpha property
right click on the alpha property click on flags
leave first two boxes normal, uncheck the last one, set the drop doen menu to 'greater' then set the value to 200
I dunno what that all does but Detourne_me showed it to me and its worked ever since :)
then use channels in photoshop/PSP to dictate which parts are see through and which are visible. When using alphas the black parts of the layer are see through and the white parts are visible. any grays will be visible according to how close to black they are, much like a reflection layer. the darker the gray the more transparent it is, the lighter it is the more visible it is.

Huh? I just tested it in-game and it's full of reflection.

Open the skin and make sure the Refl layer is black. My Male Energy by Bobby69 is transparent.
wow thanks folks I'll give these a try.
