does anyone know if theres an avengers cartoon series in the works?other than the straight to dvd movies.
There was.
"Avengers Assemble" in the late nineties. Because it was financed by Haim Saban, Antman, Wasp and Hawkeye had henshin sequences for their avengers suits. There was also Wonder Man, Falcon, Tigra, Scarlet Witch and Vision just generally doing awesome things.
Captain America made a guest appearance. Not sure about Thor and Iron Man.

I don't think that "awesome" could be applied to ANYTHING associated with that 'toon. It was thoroughly mediocre, which is a real shame, because it could have and should have been "awesome." The armor nonsense doesn't even bother me that much, but the horrible writing and lousy animation do.
The toys were fairly cool.
