I was wondering if it's possible to take the keyframes for the :ffvstr: characters and apply them to another custom character such as a mesh of some sort. I tried using the keyframes for minuteman on another character that I wanted to use his animations for. I got the keyframes from the characters folder in the art.ff file, after I converted it to unzip it's contents and such. In the end the keyframes file didn't register.
Anyhelp would be great.
Others could respond intelligently if you told them which character's mesh you tried to use with the MinuteMan keyframes. Generally speaking, the success of mixing and matching meshes and keyframes has to do with the number of bones/biped parts found in the mesh compared to those expected in the keyframes.

Sorry about that. The mesh I was trying to use was Zivon_Staff_only hex which was edited from grenadier's Zivon mesh.
The hexed mesh is a modern version of Minuteman.
It is possible to use nifskope to achieve this.
what you need to do is open up the Irratinoal games mesh in nifskope, and paste in the zivon mesh, and then make the minute man mesh invisible... by flagging it as hidden, or by giving it an empty (alpha'ed out) skin.
That's right. It works in nifskope. Simply putting the keyframe file from an Irrational mesh into a custom mesh will almost never work. You can swap a couple of Irrational key frames around, however. (Nick's and The Ant's is one example)

Just get yourself nifskope.
Thanks, you guys Rock!
