Title: FFX3 question

my question is...i recently loaded the ffx3_mapack and in the attribute section of the game its got a ton of diff. attributes but they dont work in the rumble room.example..i give hulk the superleaper ability but in the rum. room he cant leap at all.is there something that should be loaded separate to make them work?

You *are* using the FFX shortcut to launch FF, right?

yes,i found out if i try loading the game the usual shortcut bad things happen.actually the game locks up.i dont have any of the ffx's loaded.should i to make the ffx3_mapack work?if i should do you have the link?i loaded the first one once before but i couldnt understand how to make it work.i need help all around!

A) Since the mappack is an FFX based mod, the shortcut to run it needs to have the -log attribute just like the ffx shortcut does.

B) You will also need to run the control center, and select the mappack mod from the drop down list and brand your characters just like you would with the ffx mod.

When you install FFX 3.2 it comes with an application called ffxedit2 (aka. the Control Center).

This is the application where you do all the state swaps and customization of characters etc...

I didn't include it with the Mappack because I assumed (perhaps incorrectly) that everyone was pretty much using FFX 3.x at that point and had it already. Anyway the Mappack needs to be run through the Control Center to brand any custom characters. You can do this by selecting the Mappack Mod folder from the data folder drop down at the top.
