Can anybody recommend a decent A3 (11x17) printer? Preferably an inkjet. I'm not having any luck finding them on store websites, so I don't even know a model number to shoot for.
I don't think you're gonna find one for cheap. Normally, you'd be looking at one of the larger floor versions, with multiple trays for multiple paper sizes & orientations. I'd be surprised if anyone made a desktop model with that wide of a tray. If you're just doing a one time sort of print, your best bet may be to just gointo a Kinko's or somesuch.

there is such a thing, we had a desktop A3 printer for our larger scale designs, sadly that was 2 years ago so i can't fully remember the name or model
They all look to be between $200 and $1000 (http://reviews.cnet.com/4244-5_7-0.html?query=a3+printer&sort=editorsrating&fOrder=&type=&tag=srt.rat). Printers are remarkably difficult to get a decent collection of reviews on unfortunately. CNet's was all I could find. :(
We have a good one at school, I know it's epson but remember the model number. I can look on monday though.
I know it wasn't cheap, probs about £300, but the quality is very high. Especially on glossy paper.
I'm not too worried about the price. I don't mind paying a few hundred bucks for the ability to print big.
Thanks for the help so far, folks. I've at least got some model numbers to research now. :)
