As a Dolfan...

... seeing the Giants win was nice.   Great game.  Well played.  I really enjoyed it.

One of the greatest Super Bowls I've seen. Spectacular game. The Giants deserved the win, they were the better team tonight.

I don't know why but I developed a dislike for Bill Belichick's team over the course of the season... I guess it was the anti-bandwagon phenomenon in full-effect (I was a Utah Jazz fan back when Jordan's Bulls were tearing up the NBA, too, so go figure). So now, in my best Nelson Muntz voice: HA-HA!

Apparently you can't win them all. Brady actually had a pretty solid night, probably better than Eli, but that Giants D-line just didn't give anything up.

The pass to the Pats' 24 yard line from Eli to Tyree, when he had half the Pats' D (or it at least seemed like he did) on him and scrambled free was easily one of the best plays I've ever seen in a postseason football game - college OR pro - in years.

Hopefully, we'll get a Colts vs. Giants - Peyton vs. Eli - Super Bowl sometime in the future.... (Just not next season; I'm a Cowboys fan!)

A Colts and Giants showdown would make my millennium!  Indeed this was the best Super Bowl in years.  I can't stand the Pats.

It was such a close game, but in the end it was the Giants that played more like the Patriots had all season.  With opportunities for both teams to close the deal in the final minutes, New England (literally) let fortune slip through it's fingers, and New York took advantage of the openings it was given.  The Giants clearly wanted it just a little bit more.   :(

So thanks to Patriots for an historic season, and hats off to the Giants for playing a giant game when it counted.

It took a miracle play at the end, but the Giants closed the show like champs.  Not only are the NY/NJ Giants the Super Bowl Champs, the gravy is the role of super spoiler they played in preventing the heavily favored Pats from becoming 19-0.  The best part of the show for me was seeing the Giants manhandle Tom Brady.  I heard Gisele left with Eli :)

Congrats to you Giants fans........just don't get used to it. BTW my biggest nightmare would be to have a Super Bowl with both Mannings. They annoy me.
