Title: Double XP: II-VIII-MMVIII
Post by: MJB on February 02, 2008, 11:53:16 PM
Double XP returns on February 8th!!

What is your Battle Plan™?

Mine? I decided to roll a scrapper on Freedom and see how far I get with him over the weekend. After reading the suggestions people left in my Best AT Power Set Thread (http://freedomreborn.net/archive/index.php?topic=45799.0) and thinking about my concept, I've decided that a spines/regen scrapper may be the way to go.

If anyone has a better suggestion/build for a scrapper that will allow me to both solo and add to team play please feel free to post it.

I look forward to reading your Battle Plan™. :mjb:

Spines/regen is about as good as it gets for solo play, IMHO.  Spines/wp wouldn't be bad either.  Come to think of it, spines/just-about-anything would enable you to solo happily, not that I'm biased or anything.  ;)

I was gonna have quite a bit of playtime next weekend, but a friend of ours is suddenly in need of a place to stay and is likely going to be camping out with us this week.  So, we'll probably be entertaining and distracting him from his woes.  :(

I hope to squeeze in some time.  If I do, I'd love to tend to some of my lowbies - I have a lot of support toons sub-10.

My game plan is to push a couple characters to 50 that have stagnated in the mid-40's.  Liquefaction (46) and Freebase (44) being my focus.  RWZ will probably be where I'm hanging so that we can get mixed teams going.

I have a list of characters that are a level or two away from either green enhancements or a power I really want.  Aside from that, I'll play with whatever teaming is going on.  Maybe work on the new character from my contest elsewhere in this forum.  Or earn some double prestige for the Infinity VG Tempus Fugitives.  I don't really have much of a plan...

If I am smart I will try and push my main Krimson Blood, Dark Regen Scrapper on Freedom into the 40s.  However, what will likely happen is that I wlll work my DB/WP Brute on Infinity through the 30s.  Tempus Fugitives FTW (aka Time Brutes!).

I think me and TW are talking running late 30's early 40's hero stuff, probably in the RWZ.

I was thinking of getting The Custodian (wp/mace tank on Freedom) from 15 to 20, and inching Gusto closer to 50 (currently 45).

I want to get my 41 Rad/Rad closer to 50. Barring that, there's a DB/WP brute on virtue...

I've got lots of options, but I'm going to focus on Freedom and Virtue.

I want to level up Fyre-Bugg on Freedom.  I've discovered that Fire/Fire Blasters are, well, a blast.  It would be nice if I can get him up to 20.  He's 17 now.  He's just gotten up high enough to get Faultline missions, so that shouldn't be too difficult.

I've decided that my best options for levelling up my Over-20 characters are GeoFire on Freedom and Maxwell Miracle on Virtue, both level 26 characters.  GeoFire (Stone/Fire Tank) has been recently respecced to try to tank more efficiently and it does seem like there's often a shortage of mid-level tanks (excepting the up-and-coming crop of WP tanks).  So my odds of being able to latch on to a group are better.  Ditto with Max, who is an Illusion/Empathy controller.  Most groups won't hesitate to latch on to him for support and he really needs to be on a team to shine.  If I can get on some higher-level teams, the xp should be pretty good.  I should be able to level at least one of those guys to 27 or even 28 by the time it's over with.  I'll probably concentrate on Max.

Other than that, I should probably give the Paradox Patrol toons some love on Infinity...
