I would like to tell you a tale. A tale of a young person, a lvl 26 Controller, trying to get her Winter Event badges.
This 'Troller, if you will, sent a message through broadcast asking for people to join her team. She advertised that only toons that were lvl 30+ need apply. She had two bites. "Black Powerfist" and "Anbls". Both joined right away and shortly thereafter "Anbls" quit. The following is a word for word transcript...

Clearly, Meej, you have not heard of the unwritten internet rule:

As a person who has actually got one warning, you have to do something like "get up to pee and have your friend type things in broadcast a dozen times"
To paraphrase, "fecesrooster" gets you a warning if you do it in the Talos broadcast enough times.
Thankfully the GM's actually read logs to find out what the deal is before they go throwing warning and ban sticks around.
I love how people throw "reporting" out like its some effective deterant or acutal solution. I figure 90% of such reports are not even followed up on by the GMs after they, as Ver mentioned, see the logs.
Whenever someone starts throwing the GM reports out at anyone i usually laugh and tell them to go ahead and try.
I always feel harassed when Meejub's around.
Mostly because he's always grabbing my junk.

I looked it up! "Harasment" is actually an arcane, old English word meaning:
"Coolness which lieth far beyond my station, and in such measure that it doth befoul all legal limitation".
Now doesn't that make you feel better?

Obviously your first mistake was inviting someone named 'Anubls'.
Anybody who can't name their character something that either a) looks like it's pronounceable, or b) looks like it makes sense obviously doesn't have optimal brain function and can be expected to behave in brain damaged fashion.
So it's your fault, really. ;)

Looks like the player was going for Anubis.
Name jumped right out at me, because I was a huge mythology nut back in the day. Look it up on Wiki and you'll get the lowdown on our Egyptian friend.
My bet is that the player replaced the "i" with a "1" which is something commonly done with names... especially considering how fast some common names are snatched up. Do it myself quite often, some numbers and letters can be switched and look passable. Its how I got Emerald Cloak on both the blue & red side on Freedom --- replaced an "L" with a "1" somewhere in the name.
I don't think it would have beent he first clue to a problem.
Now, if the name was XXXAnewb1$XXX, then well --- I'd have stayed far away. :P
When I get back into the game myself eventually I'll have to make a character named Gothzilla --- a large female tanker with huge boots based on the many emo chicks I've run across.

But it's still meejub's fault. ;)
I was joined a team once, and we were on some mission in the caves of that place where all the trolls and outcasts hang out. (Its been a while since I've played). Anyway, everyone quit the team expcept me and the tanker (who had the mission). I told him I'd slug it out so we could get the experience. Somewhere along the line he got frustrated and left to get a higher level character just to finsish the stupid mission. He told me to invite his character who was named something dumb, but he had 4ss4ult., or something like that. Well I rememberd most of it, but what I didnt catch, and its more noticable here than in the COx fonts, is tht he put a litte "." at the end of his name. Eventually I quit the mission because I was tired of waiting for him to log on. Of course he was ticked that I quit the mission after I said I'd wait, but we eventually figured out what happened. Still, some names are a tittle crazy, IMO. I mean, if you really want to be "Assault" couldn't you be Assault-X or Red Assault?
