Surprised nobody's said anything about the Activision/Blizzard merger yet (http://www.theregister.co.uk/2007/12/03/vivendi_activision_merge_into_activision_blizzard/). This is huge... bigger than the Square/Enix deal a few years back, and this will likely put them at least on par with Electronic Arts as the biggest third-party game publisher.
Well since EA has persistently killed off any franchises it has purchased, or utterly mutilated them, this is a good sign.
Blizzard games have always been fun. They may not be completely innovative, but they know how to make a good game. Hopefully Activision will cover the innovative part and someone will finally topple the "Sports game are ubah!" fools at EA.
EA can burn in hell for the destruction of Origin.
