Body type finally fits what I'd had in mind for the character (the male_basic look was too bulkly) from the beginning, chain mail texture is effective without being over-the-top, and the leaves are no longer cut up sections of a sphere.
Worst: Kamandi. It's just C6's base, with shorts added. Lame! :thumbdown:
Best: Brainiac. That costume is just soooo wrong, but I loved how it came out:

I have to agree with JKC, that Brainiac is perfect, a silver age villain brought to (electronic) life.
Likewsie for Tomato, the improvement is HUGE, and it's only appropriat ethat his best skin is of his avatar.
For me, counting skins I actually released or plan to release, my best is whatever I'm working on at the moment, as I'm always finding areas to improve in. My favourite design is still the Cardinal, I lucked out on the colours and never looked back.
My worst? Any of the ancient skins I showed in my thread, made before I started posting on FR. They were just kittbashes and recolours of old 256x256 base skins, no seams, no highlights, no actual texturing, just cut and paste colour.
Literally my worst skin would be one of my earliest like Tien or Darklord or any of the ones from that time that got updated. But honestly I don't consider those my worst. I'm pretty proud of how they came out at the time. My worst would be ones that I grew to dislike quickly after finishing them. Like these:

I hated skinning this guy, I had poor ref pics and there was so much minor details for such a minor costume. But I soldiered on and was really happy with the result. Never got the hair quite right but I had a newer skope that was an improvement that never got released.

The Ray! This is a favorite of mine for a few reasons. One the hex came out great. Two the skin worked out almost perfectly (there's some mapping/mesh issues that didn't quite come out the way I wanted, mostly the collar). And three at the time that I skined this I was pretty high on the Ray, was even thinking of doing his new costume as well. Nifskope could have improved this one too. [/spoiler]

Hmm, I've not done loads of skinning (although I hope to finally start lots when I get my tablet) but I think that my Lunarman skin is one of my best, either that or Acidnite because the seams and colors just worked on them.

Sadly I've not got my worst skins anymore 'cos I lost them in a computer wipe. But I used to make them on paint using a program called Photo editer to open them and save them as jpegs. They were all just recolors (well colored over) of other peoples skins. I'd find a skin I liked then copy the muscle pattern using different colors and slowly get a similar skin in the color I wanted. They took ages and looked awful, lol. But I learned a lot about paint :P
But so you've got something to laugh at, here's my two worst that I still have.
This is nova, you might see a finished version yet, but I hate this one. She looked cool in my head, but I broke the golden rule and didn't draw a sketch thus certifying that it would be a flop. It's just visually confusing as well as boring and I couldn't get the silver right.

Best skin? I'm not sure...Coipel's Thor or Carey's Cannonball. I really love the way those two came out. I put a lot of love in them both.

I think my absolute worst skin was this guy called The Eye. He was basically just a black body suit, with a vaugely Egyptian looking eye on it, and an exposed bald head with similar makeup on one of his eyes. The worst thing ever.
But my best would have to be... Well, I'd say The Phantom Enmity. (http://sjhftac.comicgenesis.com/freedom/phantomenmity.html) It just worked so well for me. The skull came out really nicely, and the hood/cape that I made up on the spot shimmered beautifully. The only thing keeping this from being perfect in my eyes is the belt and the gun. The belt could be easily fixed, but I could never figure out how the gun was meshed.

My worst skins are... mostly taken down. Lemme tell you, I had some lame skins in my day. The worst skins still up? My Stan Lee (http://sjhftac.comicgenesis.com/freedom/stan.html) and Danger (http://sjhftac.comicgenesis.com/freedom/danger.html), and original creation that I was trying to do in a less defined, more cartoony style that just didn't work at all. I might go back and redo them some day.
Best? I don't know. Best techniques and most complex are probably a bit different from my favourites. I think Calamity (http://sjhftac.comicgenesis.com/freedom/calamity.html) is way up there. Also, MicroCosm (http://sjhftac.comicgenesis.com/freedom/microcosm.html), for his board and helmet, and The Phantom Enmity (http://sjhftac.comicgenesis.com/freedom/phantomenmity.html), for the fact that this is when I really started skinning bits without referencing any other skins. I was really proud of the way that skull came out.

Well the purple penguin's power was low level invunerability and super strength(very low for metahuman, able to lift around 1 ton) and a icebreath which required him to focus a bit and blow, its downside is the minimal range so he uses it as a specialized melee attack called penguin slide. He Jumps towards the floor, releases the breath and rams into his opponents on the line of ice.
he also is a well experienced fighter, skilled with gadgets.
Think Batman but with cheesier gadgets, designs and Chuck Norris qualities
