I just got a new job that requires less working hours, offers more vacation time, more money, and health insurance...it's too good to be true! I'm a new Asst. Lecturer at Hong Kong University, Suzhou Branch (it's in mainland China). This means that I will be able to spend more time writing fan fiction (must obey Doom). After I buy a new computer...I traded my old one for an electric keyboard and a little change (my piano teacher really needed a computer). The only thing that sucks is that I'm stuck living in what looks like a cheap hotel room (just a bed and TV) until I can find something better and I'm having a hard time finding something better for a reasonable price.
Anyway, I don't want to get too happy until I see my first paycheck. At which time I will jump, jump, jump, for joy. Then I have to wait for my first assessment review....
Truly, a reason to give thanks! Congratulations!
Great news indeed, congrats thelaw2 (Law?); sounds like a great job altogether!

Or do like 2046 and have a string of gorgeous women pass through your cheap hotel room to... liven it up... ;)
Best of luck and I'm glad things are going well! Watch out with the electric typewriter though... those things are like air conditioners with keys. They weigh a ton.
Whoot! New job sounds great! Here's hoping for some new digs to go with it that don't involve mugging or brothels. :D
Thank all of you for your kind words...Spud too.
Just moments ago the president of the University came and asked me to help with the city's daily newspaper...I will be an Assistant Editor for the Universities contributions...first articles will be translated from Chinese to English then i doctor up the English. For this I will get a byline!
I'm really worried that Doom is just around the corner. But until then I'm living it up, baby! Wahoo! Wahoo!Wahoo!Wahoo!Wahoo!Wahoo!Wahoo!

Oddly enough, Mapquest can't seem to find Latveria, so I can't give you directions from China. :P
