Hey folks,
I am having an issue with the teleport trade for exile and hex. I am having a character send out three mini black holes which pull and character in one end and out the other. It only works 3 out of 10 times with projectiles and I could not get it to work as a direct. any ideas.
State swaps dont work with direct attacks, they only work with melee,beam, and projectile attacks that dont have a radius.

They work for radius for me.
And with cones.

huh, i just learned-ed me sumthin, a guess I always assumed it didnt work, maybe I was thinking area attack.
That is weird. I'd swear that it says in the documentation that Explosive Projectiles other than Limey Lure don't work with swaps. Is that no longer true? I'm not at the right computer to be able to check...wait a sec...I've got the FFX docs on my flash drive.
<rustle, rustle>
Yeah...right there in the docs, under 'Area, Direct and Explosive Projectiles'. Says it has to be a Limey Lure. Has this actually worked with plain old Explosive Projectiles all along?
DEATH
It may be that something changed in FFvTTR that makes this possible.
I'll have to test it out some time.
They are definitively not supposed to work with explosive ranged attacks, except for the direct hit itself: The swap will work if the projectile itself actually hit the target, but the area explosion won't trigger thethe swap for those caught in the explosion.
