Title: parody
Post by: bearded on October 29, 2007, 04:48:53 AM
i've decided this would be a fun game.  the game is, since we are basically talking about unauthorized copies of big name characters, i will make a parody/rip off of a freedom reborner.
the supergroup is called the 'freeborners'.
whoever figures out correctly who i am parodying has to make a parody of someone else for the next person to guess.  but once you make the guess, go ahead and make the new parody.  assume you are correct.  be sure to give a clue!
here's my brand new hero:

TREET!

for I am Treet!

Assuming that I am correct, here is my parody:

Auntie Pan Liang, the ancient ancient coin collector, always quick to quip.

Easy, Captain Spud!

Hrmm... let me think.... okay another easy one.

Visigoth, the mighty warrior who fills his days with looting, pillaging, raiding, and the occasional bit of light opera.

Okay, that one's easy.  Me.  The Viking.

(Though I was wondering for a while if the Green Ham somehow referred to me, given my Grinch references in the Trick-or-Treat thread..)

Here's my parody:

G O O D

Feeling ill?  Just page the G O O D  Doctor!

Why the opposite of a really fuzzy rodent would have to be some kind of... Unfluffy Bunny.

Recollector.  His powers of hindsight allow him to see things that have already happened.

Is it possible that there are two legitimate answers to this question?

If so, I will answer Previsionary, first, and Premonitioner, second.

Here is my poser: Life's Harlequin, regional president of the Women's Christian Temperance Union.

It is true that the person I am thinking of has two aliases (or aliai, as they are never referred to), if that's what you mean.
