Title: Dumb Question!
Post by: GGiant on September 20, 2007, 05:03:07 AM
How do I make an attribute that increases damage of any attack except melee?
Specifically the beam, projectile, area, direct.  :ff:

I don't believe that's even possible.

You can increase ALL damage, but not just beams and such.

I know you can use "light speed" for beams.  I don't know about any others, though...

thing is, attributes are hardcoded. Although, wasn't there a modified version of 'claws' for FFX? Is there was then we could probably increase melee and beam damage.

You could potentially increase the attack bonus while decreasing strength so that it works out evenly for melee. Obviously, this would muck up jumping, throwing, etc...
