With the recent passing of Mike Wieringo and Joe Cockrum, it's great to hear that one of my comic book idols is still alive and kicking (and still making excellent comics (http://img246.imageshack.us/img246/1649/rockprocf0.jpg)).
As a bit of an aside, I always found it a bit odd that of all the students that graduated from his school of comic art and design, it wasn't his sons Adam and Andy, but Lee Weeks (http://www.comicartcommunity.com/gallery/details.php?image_id=6994) and Alex Maleev (http://www.comicartcommunity.com/gallery/details.php?image_id=15718) who were best able to emulate his flair for elegant linework and straightforward, no-frills storytelling (at least in my opinion).
Yay!
