Title: Sam & Max
Post by: TheMarvell on August 18, 2007, 01:34:55 PM
anyone ever read the comics, see the cartoon, or play the old LucasArts adventure game? Well, if you have and liked it, a new company came out with a new Sam and Max adventure game. It was released in episodic content via Gametap, but you can now buy the first season on 1 disc at Best Buy. I haven't played it yet but I'm looking forward to it, as each episode has gotten good reviews. And you now don't have to be a member of GameTap to get it.

Actually, you never did, but many were never aware of it.

GameTap got it first, but 2-3 weeks after that, you could buy the episodes direct from TellTale.

Finished Episode 4, and am about halfway through 5, myself..

It's the reason I got gametap in the first place and was not dissapointed with the game or gametap.

THEY JUST ADDED HITMAN BLOOD MONEY, JUST CAUSE AND EVIL OVERLORD.

I spent all afternoon playing evil overlord and it's amazing. So far it reminds me of those 3rd person action/adventure games with an army of ravenous goblinoid creatures to do all the maiming and heavy lifting for you. I cant believe I got this game "for free" (duh, I pay a suscription but still I expect mostly retro games).

I was really tempted to get GameTap because of this game, but now that it's available for retail, there's no need, at least not for this game. I prefer to buy games rather than just download them.

GameTap looks pretty cool, but I just never looked into it that much.
