Hi everyone,
Please take a look at the Thing in this picture.

I am trying to hex a vxmale body to be similar in form to make a vxThing. However, I can not seem to make the appropriate changes. I have tried nifscope and scaling vertices. However, I do not seem to be able to increase only the width and depth of the waist to make the body more block shaped than tapered.
Would anyone have any suggestions on how this could be done? Would it be better to utilize a hex editor and not nifscope? If so, would anyone know where to start with a hex editor?
Seems to me that someone made the Storm mesh obese a long while ago. Anyone know how this was done?
Any help or suggestions would be most appreciated.
Respectfully,
Souix,
Firstly, I believe Storm_obese was done in 3D Studio Max as an actual mesh.
As far as converting a male basic to Male heavy, I find it easier to use a hex editor. I use a program called Nashex. You should be able to google it and find a downloadable version of it. If you can't find it, I can send it to you or you can go to FXForce and download a mesheditor from the hexed meshes section(main page). Once you get an editor, open the NIF and select the Handle node.
you should then be able to adjust it via width, depth, height, and proportion. play around with it til you get the desired effect. Of course, that being said.....VX meshes may not have a Handle node. I'm not to familiar with VX meshes.
Good luck
