Title: Green Arrow Problem
Post by: triviaman on July 25, 2007, 03:13:20 AM
Hi
I'm using Vertex's Green Arrow mesh and while I have never had any problems with it before
it's suddenly failing me in the sense that as soon as Green Arrow starts moving in any way his hat starts flashing on and of.
Any sugestions?

that happens with a great deal of meshes made for ff1 that are being used in ffvttr. I havent seen or heard of a fix for it.

I have no idea whether this will work or not, but have you tried converting it more then once? I know my Wolverine_TJ mesh had to go through the converter a few times before it stopped being wolverine_stretched

1) flashing? do you have multiple versions of that mesh on screen at the same time? maybe 2 different characters (skins) using the same mesh?

if so copy the mesh folder and rename it to your 2nd character's name and update your herofile accordingly and play them using 2 essentially unique meshes now.

2) if that doesn't work it could just be the video options bug.

disable rendered shadows in video options and switch to blob. it will eliminate drifting mesh parts most of the time.

By flashing, I think he means the hat and maybe other parts float on and off of the base mesh whenever he does anything.

By flashing I  mean:
the top part of the hat dissapears and re-appears (note: not the entire hat) and you see green arrows hair underneath.

Just tried it and removing the shadow did the trick, thanks
