Post by: thanoson on July 15, 2007, 10:57:14 AM
So, what happened to the previous team of Thunderbolts? I mean, where is Atlas, Speed Demon and Swordsman?

ummmn,  that series was kind off falling apart by the end....

so big spoiler alert here...
Zemo turned out that he actualy was evil, but still a hero and ended up in this giant power struggle with the Grandmaster (that blue whit haired guy who looks a little like ganthet)
some tear in reality is opened and only atlas' expanding body can plug it.  i think currently he's in a coma, stuck at a massive size.
speed demon was put in jail i beleive,  because him joystick and maybe some others turned really evil.
abe and the fixer/techno are now working for shield i think,  or working on some high tech projects legitimately.
and swordsman is a part of the new thunderbolts team under norman osborn.

Speed Demon ran away. Joystick is in the negative zone prison. And as Det said Swordsman is still with the team.

Zemo has really become far more complex than a hero or villain, but the lean is becoming closer and closer to a hero, especially when you consider his mini. The reality is that he a "world conquering hero" -> just made that up but it kinda fits. I love everything Fabian did with Zemo, he made him into one of my favorite characters.

So, does Joystick have super speed?

Joystick has more like super agility than running speed.
Podmark's skins got me hooked on the T-bolts and I collected all the comics from the begining and loved the whole series, I really enjoyed how they brought 2nd tear guys into the spotlight, but I really dont like the new thunderbolts at all, I cant get into any stories or characters, it seems like they(writers) arnt focusing on anything or anyone and in the book, it seems kinda thrown togeather.  But I do still enjoy them putting some minor leaguers in the stories though (american eagle, steel spider)

Yeah the new Tbolts wasn't my thing either. Though I was interested in what was going with Robbie.
