My month of WoW is drawing to an end and I'm thinking of renewing CoH :)
Just checking all you guys are still playing, I don't want to be all alone in a big scary city, and asking a few questions.
Do you have to pay for a month? I know you do with WoW but I've always wanted something smaller in case I get bored, lol.
Also, I can't find the page on plaync.com where you buy a serial code, can anyone direct me to it please?

The new PlayNC cards come in 2-week allotments if that's all you want to invest.
To renew your account you will have to log in via the Plaync account management page. The following link should take you where you can enter your info.

goodness you'd think they'd make their site easier to use. when I go to reactivate account on the CoH tab it tells me to put in a code, but gives no indication of where I buy one of these codes. The 'store' only has 4 options for CoH: City of Heroes Europe £9.99, City of Villains Europe £9.99, a bonus pack £5.99 and both together £14.99. It doesn't say if these are just game subscriptions or for how long. :wacko:

Those would be in-store ones. Not sure if you can buy time online in less than monthly allotments.

I'm sorry to report I won't be on tonight. Plaync have messed up big time and I can't log on. The details are quite confusing so I won't explain them here but it's very infuriating. They have created two accounts with the same name instead of activating my trial account again. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Don't worry; we'll still be here when you get back. I'm not going anywhere until after I10 hits. I gots characters to try to level.
And I agree; sometimes the process for upgrading an account isn't very intuitive. Checking the FAQ's and looking for help first is definitely worthwhile.

I was out of CoH for almost a year, and mine was still around. Maybe I'll see ya around Paragon
You'll never guess what.
I contacted support and within 24 hours they'd refunded my 'non-refundable' game code and closed my duplicate/mistake account. Good on them :)
I think the reason was, my trial account was US (although it didn't say anywhere) and so had to be upgraded with a US code rather then the euro one I bought. But it's all working now, I just logged on to check :)
