Does anyone have meshes and skins for the new avengers? I have an AWESOME Patriot mesh and skin, but hes pretty lonely...
pretty much the whole team has been done. There's only one or two members that I couldnt find. Anyway, Fusion had an asgardian mesh that was set to come out, but he's been afk for awhile.

and AA did an awesome skin for it, I believe. C6 also did a hulking skin, but I don't think you'll be able to find it anymore. Syn also did an alternate patriot skin (his first costume) that you may wanna check out. C6 also did an ironlad skin which may be just as hard to locate.
Podmark did an antgirl skin...which will also be hard to find since gpl is down. Er...AA did a hawkeye skin that was also on GPL...um...wow. So yeah, the only ones that I don't know if they were done are vision and speed.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Tommyboy has a Stature mesh.

He does, as well as the already mentioned Asgardian, and a Hawkingbird one.

I finished Speed, I just don't remember where I got the mesh from. I'm guessing it's tommyboy's due to the tv_lite extension but I can't seem to find it on his site.
It uses the same mesh as kssaints Speed skin. I guess I could release it without a url from where you can get the mesh.

I don't really think that's acceptable.
The conditions by which most meshers have agreed to let others use their work in NifSkopes is that credit be given.
If you haven't kept track of where you got the parts from, either PM kssaints to find out, or don't release it.
Mark, no offence, but if someone used parts of your skin in theirs without credit I think you might feel the same way.
Please try to find out whose work you are using, and credit them .
If you don't give proper credit in your NifSkope, then the next person who bases theirs on yours has the excuse too. And so on. Before you know it, nobody has to bother anymore.
More importantly, if you don't know the SOURCE of your 'Skope, how do you know the mesher gave their permission for their work to be used?
I want to nip this "meh...just release it..it'll be alright.." attitude in the bud right now.

If it's mine, permission has been given, credit is asked for but not absolutely essential.
But others have said they don't want certain meshes 'skoped, and others still haven't been asked.
I just think it's worth keeping sight of what came from where if we can.
It's not personally aimed at you Murs47, or anyone else, it's just the communal policy I would like to see.
And I'd like to see your 'skopes and skins too, of course.

I'm not taking it personaly at all, I understand your intentions and where you're coming from.
I also didn't 'skope it if it even is a 'skope, I don't know how to 'skope honestly. :( (I'm just a lowly skinner.)

Yeah your right Tommy about releasing skopes randomly, but I was only referring to releasing the skin not the mesh.
Also when I posted that I really wasn't thinking and what I actually should have said was to post a picture. About an hour after the Post I was wondering how releasing the skin would help anyone figure out what the mesh was.

If it is the same one I used it is a scoped mesh and there should be a read me file giving full credit to those involved. I will check to make sure it wasn't accidently ommitted. As I recall it was all tommyboy stuff on that one.

where can you get Patriot, Hawkeye, and Hulkling? (already got Speed, Wiccan, Stature)
To put things in order, this is what I've got:
* Iron Lad - C6's skin (male_basic_effects).
* Hulkling - C6's skin (drax_the_destroyer hex),
* Patriot - C6's skin (vxmale_nomouth).
* Wiccan / Asgardian - tommyboy's mesh, and AA's recent work.
* Speed - AA's recent work.
* Stature - Podmark's skin (kitty_antgirl, a kitty_lockheed hex).
* Hawkeye - tommyboy's mesh.
If somebody wants them (especially C6 skins, the others are currently available as far as I know), you know what to do... :)

Not that one. There is a battlestar mesh around there, you can hex off the collar, gloves and boots, and try to put the skin into that mesh. Maybe you'll have to kitbash it a little, but as long as you keep it for yourself (i.e. just personal use), you won't have problems, as far as I can tell.
(Somebody correct me if I'm wrong here, but I think that's the way kitbashing works. You may do what you want privately. Just don't allow other people to download it, and, of course, don't take credit for other people's work).
I believe Ren actually has a classic Patriot with his old Cap shield, so if you can get that sent to you, you wouldn't need to do all the hexing and such.
Also Tommy has a Stature mesh and I have a Hawkingbird skin/hex in my yahoo group for Kate.

For recent costumes you should only be missing Hulkling, he is the only character I haven't seen a current costume for.

Is there any chance of putting all the skins and meshes into a zip file and uploading it to one of the main Download servers, eg Megaupload or Rspidshare? I was sent an email with the skins and meshes (thankyou!) but Hotmail wouldnt let me open them due to Virus alerts. :banghead:
