Sorry if this questions gets asked a lot, but I couldn't find any info after searching around for a while. I wanted to make some new skins for some :ffvstr: characters, but I can't seem to find the original skins. I'm specifically interested in Red Oktober and the Kill-A-Rillas, but any others would be appreciated. TGA format would be great, since I'm not sure how to alter DDS.
you've got to unzip your art.ff file. Chance the .ff bit to .zip and then unzip it. You ca safely delete the art.ff after that as the files are unlocked.
To open dds there are several photoshop plug-ins you can get. Just google them :)
If you've got photoshop, there's a plugin for DDS files floating somewhere out there... Otherwise you can just make them tgas and convert them after. ANYHOW, you have to unzip the art.ff file in your Freedom Force Data directory. That should get you what you are after.
