Title: A problem: too much junk in the trunk
Post by: vamp on June 12, 2007, 08:30:08 PM

As you can see I am having a problem making the backside less thick. Is there a way to do this? I was trying to make a kid mesh from the male_basic_anime, but once i got here i didn't know what to do. Any help would be appreciated

What exactly have you done? If you've been skoping, you're better off just hexing the mesh to a smaller size.

you may want to try scaling vertices in the pelvic bip01...  hmmn,  make several copies of your work so far before doing this though...

Yeah, it looks like you shrunk the wrong node. Try shrinking eithor the handle node(if it has one) or the hip node.

Vamp,

Something else you may be able to try is download 2 meshes.

One is called Female_afro I believe and it is found in one of JIK's yahoo groups.
The other is a hex from FXForce called Female Afro_small butt(or something like that).  Open both in skope(or maybe Nashex or similar program) and then try to compare the 2 meshes and see if you can find out how and where the mesh(smallbutt) was modified.  Then 'reproduce' a similar effect on your mesh.  Yes.....I know this sounds like ALOT of work, butt(pun intended), it could pay off in the end.

Good luck.
