While surfing the web I found a Power Girl redesign I think would be cool to see skinned.

A costume that covers everything but her mammaries and tuppence?
Can we say tacky?
Which is to say I don't care for it much...
Ooo! Ooo! Ooo! I'll skin it! I'll skin it!
Um...anybody wanna skope that for me?
Not bad, I suppose. I would think she'd want to cover her belly, though.
Meh. I do like the gloves, but that's about it.
Incidentally, DC is marketing a line of anime-based pvd figurines called "Ame-Comi", all of female characters, and the Power Girl redesign from it (the drawing shown in Previews, anyway) looks pretty cool. They won't be released until January, however. (They've been advanced solicited in Previews)

However....the Power Girl figure looks like crap (costume redesign looks godawful on the actual figure, because the actual figure looks.....), and the actual Batgirl figurine being released is colored differently according to Previews; this is unfortunate, because the Batgirl pictured on that website looks better than the one in Previews, which is colored gray, blue and gold and looks horrible.
Of course, the biggest problem with that Power Girl costume is "how would it stay on".

Lots and lots of double-sided costume tape which is the lifeline of many Las Vegas showgirls and Hollywood actresses wearing those cleavage-revealing dresses at award shows. Now the real challenge is how to avoid "wardrobe malfunctions" if superheroes use that kind of tape... humidity would not be a good thing to have during a major smackdown.
Superman: "Power Girl would you please take down the giant robot."
Power Girl: "Sure Thing... I'll just fly down and..." *POP* "Oh, &%#%!"
Flash: "Whoa... Power Girls got the high beams on."
Batman: "Interesting... The robot actually seems to be stunned."
Flash: "I need a cold shower."

The folks at Project Rooftop -- a currently inactive blog that lets illustrators do hero makeovers -- had a buncha new looks for PG:
