I'm actually a little excited about this film. The book was overrated and I didn't like the art, but the basic storyline was quite good. Plus, I haven't watched a good vampire flick since ... Lost Boys? Francis Ford Coppola's Bram Stoker's Dracula?

note that 'based on the graphic novel' is quite prominent ... usually its hidden in the fine print (see: Road To Perdition).
From Dusk til Dawn? Near Dark?
Near Dark ... i didn't really dig (aside from Bill Paxton's role).
From Dusk Til Dawn was literally half a vampire a movie, half a crime flick.
I, on the other hand, really enjoyed the book. I love Templeton's creepy style. My only problem with it was that it seemed too short, and therefore lacking in character development.
Anyhow, I'm excited for the movie. I hope that, if anything, it's at least a really creepy and foreboading set piece.
anyone see the trailer for it yet?
i did its at imdb
its really cool
Yea, saw the trailer about a month ago. I like that the chick that played Faith on Buffy is in it.
