Holy Alien Invasion Batman!
Personally, I am of the belief that a Joker gassed up predator would be on everyones christmas list
Note: Spoiler tags used just in case the first four seconds of the narration didn't give away whom else stars  :P

I *so* love this take on Batman plus it shows that a superhero/sci-fi crossover is possible without being too over the top.

And I still think that THIS version of The Joker is how he should be in Batman: The Dark Knight..

Was it me, or did it seem like he was a little girl compared to "it" during that fight? BTW, Batman goes Shopping is awesome.

Man, that stuff was cool. And they did all of that with only $30,000? Coolio...

And yes, Batman Goes Shopping was just the graetest thing... Ever.

I've seen it many times, and continue to come back to it.

Simply put, I believe that is the best looking Batman put on film. It looks like an Alex Ross painting come to life. Just beautiful in the costume and it's trueness to the comics.

Why do big budget movies always have to put him in body armor? This guy made the Dark KNight look amazing AND true to the comic for only $30k. The Joker's make up looked pretty great too. Especially around the eyes.

Good stuff!

Amen Mowgli, an Alex Ross painting.....exactly.  I think that totally worked on film.  Maybe this film needs to be shown to the big wigs at WB? ^_^

oh they must have seen it, but they don't have an interest in making an Alex Ross painting come to life, they don't have an interest in pleasing the fans of the comics, they use their focus groups to determine the type of 'Batman' that is most marketable and most pleasing to the schlubs who have never seen sequential art in their life.

They also make that batman really hardcore in the small details, such as the bandaged (and bloody) hands when he is putting on the costume at the beggining.

The honesty and truth of that statement makes me sad. I wish the source material was the focus, but it isn't anymore, is it?

lugaru: God is in the details. I notice the bandages everytime I watch that. Not to mention, that great sound effect of the stretching leather when he makes a fist in the glove.
