I was just wondering if there's anywhere I can find a tutorial for editing certain things in a hero file.. specifically, I would like to be able to split powers into the Tier A and Tier B categories of the game, and I would also like to know how you can write your own character biographies like the built-ins have.
Well... I don't know if you can for custom heroes, but I know that when you have your own built-ins you can make some strings for them. You'd do this by editing Language/English/strings.txt and then using FFEdit to generate the dats. With built ins you can also reorganize powers to the different tiers.
Actually I'd like to know what to do to rename tier A and B.
you rename tiers in the string.txt file in lang folder.... like so:
TIER_SHRAPNEL_B_01, Energy Powers
TIER_SHRAPNEL_A_01, Armor
TIER_GORGON_A_01, Fury
TIER_GORGON_B_01, Power
