Anyone tackle this hero file yet?
I've done this file before but I dont HAVE one on my hardrive right now since Im starting again from scratch. Let's see...
- material (stone) is an option since it gives him a nice combo of invulnerabilities and one vulnerability. This is highly optional.
- teleport (at high cost, he wont do anything immediatly after)
- spawn blast (high cost energy blast with some stun and knockback)
various melee
- tinkerbelle (stolen from the spawn video game, a small homing spark of hell energy that explodes on contact)
- heal self swap (high cost again, we dont want to see him do this all the time).
- magic (alteration, high cost)
That's from reading the first 30 issues and playing the SNES game. I dont know if his powers have changed much but I do know he got some insect related powers at some pont, so I guess you can call the file "classic spawn"

now time for some weirdness (I never did any of these on my file but feel welcome to...):
Back in the day if he ran out of energy it was back to hell. I usually represented this by high cost powers (making him reluctant to use them) but you could figure out some crazy stuff to do with energy tanks.
Nemesis: the forces of hell are hounding you. Is there a decent VIOLATOR mesh out there?
weapon master: get this guy some plasma cannons and machine guns! He's an image character after all!
disguise: his amazing ability to turn into some white guy.
I don't have my hero files on hand either. but i make him a shapeshifter, with the main mesh being Syn's. I also use Wingzero's mesh with the axe and Bildamn's skin, (with the 3dmaster Spawn cape skoped on to it) and then the commando spawn that Bildamn did a while ago (on a punisher_TJ hex)
in his main form I gave him many of the powers Lugaru mentioned (especially the tinkerbell and teleport), but instead of a lot of magical powers, i use chain whips for throw, pull, and stasis attacks. In the Axe form, he's pretty much just a melee monster with some chain attacks, and commando form, is well, machine guns and stuff.
the trouble is, he's pretty much had access to every single superpower over time, even becoming god-like. i'd like to get into the new revamped stuff, but i want to wait for a trade. i did see a trade for "The Adventures of Spawn" the anime style series, but i'm reluctant to pick it up.
P.S. i woul Love to see a good Violator or OvertKill mesh.
for melee, i'd recommend a "normal" punch, as well as a "necroplasm" superpunch, that would do more damage and maybe some knockback at a low cost.
also, you may want to give him a short ranged, zero-cost chain attack, since he frequently uses his chains in the earlier issues.
Was just reading up on Spawn on wikipedia. He's got an interesting history, but he'd make a tough hero file, seems to have many open ended powers.
yeah. basically, spawn can do whatever the heck he wants, so long as he has the energy reserves to do it.

Was he omnipotent in the HBO TV series? I can't remember...
