Title: viewing animations in nifskope
Post by: Core on May 24, 2007, 11:24:20 AM
I'm doing a rifle swap on a mesh and cant seem to get it to align right in the mesh. Is there a may I can view animations in nifskope similar to the Character Tool so that I can reposition the rifle at a certain frame of an animation?

Yes. Keep nifskope open.
Adjust, save then open ctool and view.
Close Ctool if not right, back to nifskope, adjust, save.
Open ctool and view.

Ha! That's what I've been doing. I was kinda hoping there was a shorter way, but I guess not.

Sorry.

We can hope. Recently, Axel and I appealed for both Morrowind and FF keyframe animation support for NifSkope. Currently only Civ4 and Oblivion animations (i.e. load mesh AND keyframes) is supported. Hopefully shouldn't be too hard.
