I'm graduating from Shepherd University with a BA in Historic Preservation tomorrow! Yay!
It took eight years, though I didn't fail or get kicked out or anything--real life got in the way and left a nearly four-year gap in my education.
Now, if anyone can figure out how I started with a Japanese Studies major and wound up with Historic Preservation, I'd like to know that myself! :D
(Incidentally, I'd like to thank the Freedom Reborn community for the friendship and creative excitement that helped get me through that aforementioned four-year funk.)
Congratulations SHJ.
Well done for seeing it through.
Congrats SHJ! What do you plan to do now you can perserve Japanese artifacts? ;)
That's awesome news, SHJ! Congratulations!
Now all you have to do is find a job in your chosen field!

Way to go, UY... The last thing the guy needs at the moment is a dose of reality.
That can wait until the student loans are due. ;)
Congrats, SHJ!

HEY!
Hell, I've gone from a prospective desk-jockey field of computer science to 10-12 hour wage slave theatrical technician. At least your jump will have some crossover. :)
Congratualtions! That's great news!
Hmm... I know some local history that desperately needs preservation...
Good job well done, SHJ!
And the workforce welcomes another proud owner of a BA in Underwater Basket Weaving.
;)
Gratz SHJ!

another? was that your major too, Spud.
oh and congrats SHJ
Congratulations!
From one history guy to another - what kinda history are you seeking to preserve?
Congrats SHJ. gives me hope that I, too will one day will finish with higher education.
It's so hard to preserve history! It seems like everyday there's something new to preserve!
Congrats!! It took me 10 years to get my B.A. I know how hard it is to stay the course when RL gets in the way, esp. when friends keep asking when you will finish
Well done SHJ, it would have been easy to let it slide after the lay off so that shows some serious dedication.
Shepherd University in Shepherdstown WV? If so I'm going there this year. Grats man.
Congratz!
