Title: would it be possible?(stupid person asking stupid question)
Post by: ubergreendragon on May 09, 2007, 01:33:19 AM
1st off ill say i dont know anything about meshing or hexing or any of that but i do love FF and its ever apparent potential ...im also a big fan of legos and a lego program called Ldraw/MLCAD for making lego models and such from lego pieces ...i know there used to be lego looking figure meshes around but i was wondering if it were possible to make meshes using the information from the lego program since they are both 3d based ? like i said before i know nothing of what the limits of these types of things are or even how to make a mesh in the 1st place

most likely the answer is if you can export to a 3ds or .obj, then you will need a mesher to import that, physique it to bones, and maybe even unwrapp the uvw.

actually another answer occurs to me.  i might be wrong.  i think if you can make a .obj a 'skoper can add it to an existing mesh.
male basic with lego cyborg parts.  or the star trek lego borg.
