I'm having trouble with a couple meshes where they appear to be tinted pink in Ctool2 and splotchy white in-game. Note, I say tinted pink: you can still see the proper skin, it's just all coloured wrong. I'm currently having this problem with wolverine_TJ, a skope I'm working on, and several other meshes I can't think of right now. Any suggestions on how to fix this problem?
I've seen this happen when the lightmap file is missing from the skin folder. Could be caused by a missing refl or glow file, too.
is there anyway to fix it?
Check to see if the lightmap file is there (it's usually called "male_basic_lightmap.tga" for male meshes, and "female_basic_lightmap.tga" for female meshes). If it's not, copy one over from another skin and see if that fixes it.
the male_basic_lightmap.tga actually does soemthing!!!??
oh man i got to go get started on it!
what if it has all of that but certain parts are still pink? my issue isnt ctool but the game itself.
what tool do you use to convert .tga to the .dds format?
what if u see white blots on the character mesh in freedom force?
when i choosed that mesh and play the game he was purple or pink
i cant seem to find the correct file to unpink riddler's hat and all of kilowag
what files am I to use to fix these?
